Injustice of the Romanian Legal System
The extent of injustice in this case is difficult to fathom & I'm glad that people are beginning to realise & accept that the conduct of the judiciary/prosecutor lacks justice & fairness.
Romania is on the world stage & they're failing /1
Here are the Tates arriving at DIICOT
Tristan ‘There is no evidence against me, The authorities are trying to steal my cars & my money
Andrew ‘There’s no proof, I didn’t do anything wrong, Unfortunately there is no justice in Romania’
Are they right? /2
Tristan said that they are trying to steal his cars and money.
Here the Romanian Authorities seized 3.5 million pound worth of assets.
Is this reasonable or even proportionate?
The answer is no.
/3
Tates lawyer explained the civil claim = 0.1% of seized assets.
This suggests Tristan is right.
Why have they seized this amount of assets, if there are no ulterior motives?
This also contravenes the ECHR in relation to a person’s right to property /4
The Judiciary, Prosecutor and DIICOT have clearly acted unfairly in their detention of Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate by remanding for a further 30 days.
This was despite the fact that ZERO NEW EVIDENCE was attained or presented to the court. /5
The Tates lawyers were given a case file consisting of 17,000 pages of documents of mostly IRRELEVANT information to review but NOT to keep, a mere 45 minutes before the first hearing
Then they were then not given access to this case file until 1 day before the next hearings. /6
This made it almost impossible to prepare an adequate defence.
It means the judiciary/prosecutor/DIICOT's handling of the case has not been fair and it means that the Tates’ have been left with a situation where they are fighting an uphill battle.
The world seeks justice. /7
